    Tom Bailey is an English singer, songwriter, musician, composer, and record producer.

    He rose to fame in early 1980s as the lead vocalist for the new wave band Thompson Twins. The band achieved success with five singles reaching the Top 10 in the UK charts: ‘Love On Your Side’, ‘We Are Detective’, ‘Doctor! Doctor!’, ‘You Take Me Up’, and ‘Hold Me Now‘.

    Tom Bailey formed Thompson Twins in 1977. They became fixtures on MTV during the 1980s, as the videos for ‘Hold Me Now’, ‘Lay Your Hands on Me’, and ‘King For a Day’ were played frequently.

    In 2016, Tom Bailey released a new solo single, ‘Come So Far‘. He released his debut solo studio album Science Fiction in July 2018.
