But it was one life-changing phone call — an invitation to join Hot Chocolate for a show in Düsseldorf — that set him on a global journey with the legendary group.
“We went on stage and the place erupted,” recalls Kennie. “They all thought I was Errol Brown! The show went down fantastically well – and that night, the band asked me to become their new singer. I’ve been with them ever since.”
Since that night, Kennie has carried the Hot Chocolate torch across continents – from Australia to Abu Dhabi – performing for sold-out crowds and new generations of fans. His passion for music remains undimmed.
