Boogie Storm, the sensational dance group, captured hearts worldwide when they reached the Final of Series 10 of Britain’s Got Talent. Their unique twist? Performing in full Stormtrooper costumes, bringing an electrifying mix of dance and pop culture to the stage!
A Stellar Journey on Britain’s Got Talent
During their audition, Boogie Storm refused to speak to the judges when they walked onto the stage, but then went on to wow the judges with an energetic routine set to pop hits like “Sax” by Fleur East and “Single Ladies (Put A Ring On It)” by Beyoncé. Their silence and mysterious persona, combined with their dance moves, earned them Simon Cowell’s Golden Buzzer. Simon exclaimed, “My dream has come true,” while Amanda Holden added, “You were brilliant and you shone some light into this day.”
Their Semi-Final appearance featured a surprise appearance by Darth Vader, and Boogie Storm performed a thrilling medley to “Smooth Criminal” by Michael Jackson and “You Can Leave Your Hat On” by Randy Newman. Simon predicted they could be the winners, and David Walliams called them a “brilliantly original act.” They advanced to the finals via public vote.
Their final performance included hits like “It’s Raining Men” by The Weather Girls and “Vogue” by Madonna. Alesha Dixon praised them, saying, “Every time I see you, I’m liking you more and more,” and Amanda noted their emotional depth. They finished 3rd in the public vote!
Boogie Storm went on to take their act to International Stages and continued their streak of success by receiving Simon Cowell’s Golden Buzzer again in America’s Got Talent: The Champions (2020) advancing straight to the Finals! They are the only act to ever receive Simon Cowell’s Golden Buzzer twice!
