Sid Bowfin is the creation of violinist and entertainer Adrian Garratt. Having studied violin from a young age, Adrian began his freelance career in 1996, combining music with comedy whilst street performing at London’s Covent Garden.
Six years later, he formed the comedy string trio Pluck, with whom he co-devised three completely original theatre shows, working with acclaimed directors Toby Sedgwick (Warhorse) and Cal McCrystal (One Man Two Guvnors). These shows delighted audiences and won awards internationally, with performances in Edinburgh, The South Bank’s Purcell Room, Aldeburgh Festival, Italy, Finland, Australia, Malaysia, Singapore, and the US. Pluck also performed a hugely successful street theatre show, allowing Adrian to further hone his street performing skills.
