Prior to his television debut, Ricky trained at the Constance Grant School of Dance from a young age and became accomplished in a multitude of dance forms. He honed his craft as a redcoat at Butlins.
His successes brought involvement in many professional theatre productions including ‘Oliver!’ and ‘Great Expectations’ at the Lyceum Theatre, Sheffield. This led to television credits such as co-presenting with Philippa Forrester for the BBC’s ‘Broom Cupboard’.
Ricky embarked on a solo journey, captivating audiences with his one-man show that showcased his comedic versatility: from visual routines to observational comedy. In 2014, his self-penned comedy routine ‘The Fairytale of Love’ saw him reach the semi-finals of ‘Britain’s Got Talent’.
