    Renowned for her impeccable taste in music and effortless on-air charisma, she’s credited with introducing iconic bands like Nirvana, Arctic Monkeys, and Amy Winehouse to our ears.

    Jo made history as the first woman to helm a primetime drivetime show in two decades, alongside Simon Mayo, before captivating audiences with her own evening slot. Her interviewing style, marked by a conversational approach, has met some of the biggest names in entertainment. She is known for introducing new and exciting acts to the general public while playing established hits from a blend of genres.

    In 2001, Jo took charge of the morning airwaves with a dynamic new show. She transitioned to BBC Radio 2 after an illustrious tenure at Radio 1.
