An enormous woman with sumptuously brocaded hips glides around event grounds effortlessly as if propelled from beneath. She shares social tittle-tattle with the audience as she careers between them.
When, at last, she chooses her spot to stop, the orchestra from beneath her petticoats tunes up and with great aplomb, her skirts open to reveal a full theatre and a series of theatrical surprises ensues.
