Soul Desire are a 5 piece party band based in Edinburgh. They were formed and remain to this day a band determined to answer the question “What if…?”
That’s the short version, in more detail, having first-hand experience of what it takes to perform at the highest level in terms of production, musical arrangement and of course performance, the “What if…?” seeks to apply the same attention to detail to a covers band with the focus fixed firmly on giving the target audience (i.e. packed dance floor) a night they won’t forget anytime soon.
The highest priority is given to meeting the challenge of being sufficiently different so as to stand out from the norm without being in any way pretentious or over-indulgent. Meeting the requirement of such a challenge requires a band made up of like-minded individuals, experts in their field and most importantly, free from egos.

Duggy Coulter on bass, keys and vocals has 20 years of experience gained on the road and recording with some of Scotland’s finest.
Fiona Lynch on vocals has been performing throughout the UK for the past 7 years with various function bands and has sung at many prestigious events and venues throughout this time including the premier of the Disney Pixar movie ‘Brave’ in Edinburgh, The Scottish Tourism Awards Ceremony at Wembley London and The Robert Burns charity events in Kiev, Ukraine.
Mike Kearney on vocals and keys who has been playing music professionally for ten years.
Robert Minns on guitar, keyboards and vocals whom is one of the country’s most inventive and flexible musicians.
Davide L Rinaldi on drums and percussion who has had the pleasure to play many styles of music including Pop, Rock, Jazz. Funk, Latin and Reggae with some major Italian acts, function bands and various independent artists.
