As well as performing her Cher tribute act, Turn Back Time, Laura also began as a pop covers vocalist and experimented by putting ‘Rehab’ into her set. The response from that one song gave her the confidence to put together a full Amy Winehouse tribute show and by the summer that year, ‘My Winehouse’ was born!
My Winehouse captures all that was great about Amy’s style, attitude, quirky look and the deep raspy soulful voice. Laura too, has a voice like a New York black singer, but just like Amy, is a cheeky Londoner! This is the healthy version of Amy everyone always wanted!
