Andy James aka AJ started out as a guitarist and vocalist, writing and playing his own material across the south of England. He discovered he had a similar style of performance and vocals to Robbie Williams. Studying everything about the energetic star, Andy decided to move into the tribute world.
Developing his show and perfecting his craft, no one sounds closer to the real thing.
Andy worked regularly for Thompson Gold and Club 18/30 events all over the Canary Islands and Spain. His Robbie Swing show was renowned at the Legends of Broadway show at Exit Palace.
Robbie Williams’s dad Pete Conway has joined Andy on stage to perform the same duets as he had with his ‘real’ son. Pete has become a strong supporter and has officially endorsed Andy’s act saying that Andy is “The closest I have heard vocally to my son.”
Andy’s commitment and passion for what he does is outstanding! His vocal ability has earned him great respect from his peers in the entertainment industry – both on and off stage. His shows are continually updated with the latest custom made tracks and costumes, and with so many hits to choose from, no show is ever the same.
Andy regularly works for Grosvenor Casinos, Mecca Bingo and De Vere Hotels and is a member of the Musicians Union.
