Killer Queen formed back in 1993. Their first public shows were a London University, following in the footsteps of the real Queen, who had played their first shows there 21 years earlier.
By 1995, Killer Queen’s UK popularity had grown to such an extent that they secured a residency in London’s Strand Theatre, attracting nationwide BBC coverage – the first tribute to have a show in the West End.
The band’s reputation continued to grow both in the UK and abroad. In 1999 they returned from a tour of Europe and Russia for an awards ceremony in Leicester Square, hosted by Suggs from Madness. He announced they had won the award for ‘Worldwide Best Tribute Band’.
Queen’s music is loved the World over. Their songs have inspired generations. Recreating the songs on a World stage takes a great deal of skill and Killer Queen’s musicianship is outstanding.
During their various careers, the musicians have worked and recorded with a cast array of artistes including Roger Taylor, Brian May and Monseratte Caballe. The band have also scored a number one hit when they were asked to recreate Queen’s harmonies for “The Real Life” with Fatboy Slim in 2001.
As Killer Queen toured into their second decade, the audience grew. In 2005 they played Ahoy Stadium, where the reformed Queen would be performing only a few months later.
The next year Killer Queen joined forced with Bjorn Again and The Bootleg Beatles for a Waverly Stadium show in Edinburgh. It was this performance that led to the band being selected to represent Queen in a restaged tribute LiveAid convert held by Sir Bob Geldof. They performed with him at his arena charity concert to raise funds for the homeless.
2009 saw a triumphant return to a sold out Ahoy Stadium with their acclaimed “Queen Spectacular” production with another award, this time from Sweden’s Vasteras concert hall “Best Concert Of The Year 2009”.
Killer Queen can offer a full scale arena production, including a unique moving Queen lighting rig, screens, Wembley ’86 style podiums & gangways, stunning pyrotechnics and visuals.
Their acclaimed “Queen Spectacular” sold out Ahoy Stadium in 2009. Smaller scale versions of Killer Queen’s show are also available for theatres.
The popularity of Queen’s music spans the generations and Killer Queen regularly delight crowds with their amazing show featuring all of Queen’s best loved songs and most dazzling costumes.
Killer Queen’s previous clients included George Martin, Richard Branson, McLaren, ITV, TCM, Honda, Grand Marnier, Jack Daniels, The Royal Navy, the Royal Airforce, the British Army & BAE Systems. They have performed at venues such as The Royal Albert Hall, Birmingham NEC, Knebworth, Monte Carlo, Montreux & Canne.

Just a quick one to say how amazing everything went at our function thanks to Big Foot Events! From the very beginning they were extremely helpful and made sure everything was looked after without giving me too much hassle either! The Photo Booth, Candy Floss Cart and Popcorn Cart were all fantastic and a great hit with all of our family and friends and the staff running them were absolutely amazing! They were all set up and ready to go well before the event started and made sure they were always helpful! So a massive thank you to you all!

I just wanted to say a big thank you for being a part of our snapdragon festival this year. Once again Rex was a massive hit and the children and adults loved him. The two members of staff that came to the event were very professional and catered to any requests we had.

We absolutely love having Noughty 90’s here, such lovely people and amazing sets! They had everyone up and dancing on the dance floor.

It was absolutely incredible, I cannot thank you guys enough for how amazing it all was. The Ranger and Rex were outstanding, every single guest loved them to pieces and we certainly had the wow factor for our wedding. Just the idea of having a dinosaur is one thing, but the way Rex, Trixxie and the Ranger worked tirelessly to entertain the entire wedding party just added to the overall effect. We've had non-stop comments from those who attended saying it was pure magic, videos of the experience have gone viral and we even had guests from the hotel desperate to catch a glimpse of Rex. I cannot overstate how incredible you all have been, from the day a weirdo messaged Lauren asking for a dinosaur at their wedding, to speaking with Jade to coordinate everything and then finally meeting Rex and the Ranger on the big day. Everything worked out a million times better than I ever thought possible, and my dad was very pleased to see Rex was appropriately dressed with his bow tie. Amazing, amazing, amazing, thank you all, from the bottom of our hearts.

Both acts went down a storm at the weekend. Really pleased with everything! Madonna did all the hits and even included some iconic costume changes! She had the audience up Voguing at the front! ABBA Fever had the crowd on their feet from the start and would be a worthy headliner in the future.
