Erasured has become a beloved act on the UK tribute circuit, playing to devoted audiences who appreciate their dedication to the iconic duo’s music.
Known for energetic performances that capture the essence of Erasure’s live shows, Erasured delivers a nostalgic experience that transports audiences back to the 80s synth-pop era, while also drawing in new listeners who are discovering Erasure’s classics for the first time. They perform fan-favourite hits like ‘A Little Respect’ and ‘Chains of Love’ with passion and authenticity.
In 1995, Mark appeared on ITV’s ‘Stars In Their Eyes’ (and again for the 1995 Christmas Special) as Erasure’s Andy Bell to universal acclaim. He met Pete Faint in 1996, and the pair began writing original material together and at the same time launched Erasured, with which they toured the circuit for over ten years before disbanding. Then, in 2018, Mark was invited to recreate the recent arena gigs Robbie Williams had done with Erasure. The show was a huge success and they again found their passion for Erasure music, and started touring again, with new technology and new outfits!
