After leaving university, Mitchell and Robert Webb worked on several projects eventually impressing at the Edinburgh Fringe. Mitchell and Webb made their big break in the Channel 4 sitcom ‘Peep Show’. It went on to become the longest-running sitcom on Channel 4. Mitchell won the British Academy Television Award for Best Comedy Performance and the Best Television Comedy Actor award at the British Comedy Awards. With the success of Peep Show, Mitchell and Webb returned to BBC Radio with ‘That Mitchell and Webb Sound’. The radio program was adapted for the screen in the form of ‘That Mitchell and Webb Look’.
