The Iron Boot Scrapers became the great white sharks of the busking bands soon after they had took to the streets in 2008.
The Iron Boot Scrapers embrace the attitude of those early musicians, using the instrumentation of the 1920’s,whilst playing the cutting edge music of this present day instead of the ossified music of one hundred years ago. However still using the thump of the sousaphone, twang of banjo, drums and other authentic instrumentation of that past time, all with uplifting vocal harmonies.
There are 3 Iron Boot Scraper projects
The street band acoustic performance. This is great for those wanting a band, at their event, that is mobile and requiring no amplification. The Iron Boot Scrapers will mingle with your guests and will give your party their own brand of musical boost.
The full on dance band. The Iron Boot Scrapers play with radio mics, so they will still be entirely mobile and will regularly invade, and rock out with the guests. This option will involve lights and PA amplification. There is an option for a post DJ dance option, spinning the mp3s for your dancefloor.
The Steampunk band playing their own IBS original material. Hear samples of their original material. Using their original instrumentation they became the Victorian Street band that H G Wells evicted from his street by literally moving them on to another time. Now, stuck in the 21st Century they struggle with current musical genres and create their own in the process.
