Coming from a musical family, Ceinwen has played the harp from an early age. At 16, she won a scholarship to the Royal Manchester College of Music and later graduated from the University of Wales. She performs regularly in a variety of functions including weddings in Cheshire, North Wales, the Wirral, Shropshire and further afield.
Ceinwen is proud to play on either a beautiful gold Horngacher harp or on the distinctive modern Salvi Apollo. If necessary, she can also provide a smaller Celtic harp, which can be used at venues where access with a big instrument is difficult. With vast experience playing at functions, you can be confident that she will put her professional stamp on your special event.
Weddings & Civil Partnerships
Background harp music during the Drinks Reception is a popular choice, and pleases guests during the sometimes lengthy process of taking photographs. Alternatively Ceinwen can provide a discreet background ambiance during the Wedding Breakfast itself.
As guests enter the church, harp music will provide an extra welcome for them, and the instrument also looks and sounds perfect at a church venue. It can add that further spine tingling element as you process down the aisle, and provides a focus for the congregation as you sign the register.
Some brides choose to have harp solos at this point, but Ceinwen is always willing to accompany singers or instrumentalists — a member of the family perhaps?
Imagine walking down the aisle to the romantic and unique sound of the harp! One of Ceinwen's beautiful instruments will enhance that wonderful moment for you, and give a special touch of elegance to the proceedings. The choice of music is yours.
Whether you favour romantic melodies, classical pieces, pop favourites, songs from the shows or traditional airs, Ceinwen's huge repertoire is sure to please.
