The show kicked off with Chris Cross, ‘The Geordie Magician’. Since he was the warm-up act I honestly expected the entertainment equivalent of a lukewarm macaroni cheese, but I was in for a pleasant surprise. He was quick-witted and 100% HILARIOUS. He mastered the blend of comedy, timing and, of course, magic, so much so that I spent half his show working on my six pack through laughter and the second half scratching my head thinking “How did he do that?!

Sweet Sensation made Mary’s party a huge success. This is the first time I have seen 95% of a party up and dancing from the get go! The guys created an amazing party atmosphere and guests from every age groups commented on their excellent interaction. Thank you again!

Thank you very much to Popwork for providing last Friday night’s entertainment for our wedding at Holdsworth House, Halifax. The feedback I received from the wedding guests was overwhelmingly positive. The dance floor was full all night long! One guest commented that he had attended many weddings across the UK and Ireland and Popwork were the best wedding band he had seen!

Thank you so much to Mixtape for their performances. They were brilliant - a bunch of very talented musicians. We're also very glad we requested the female singer- she was brilliant! We all really enjoyed dancing away to the songs they performed and were particularly impressed with their rendition of our first dance song. All our guests were impressed with them too. Their music will play a special part in our memories of our big day.

The event went really well. Better than even we hoped! Venue was super, the cuisine was good and Beat Street International got everybody on their feet. The set was generously over 90 minutes and using their PA and streaming we danced to 3:00am. They are super. The musicians from all over the UK are all highly professional and it really shows - the trumpet and the sax really add to the performance. Great people to deal with, they arrived at 5:00pm and I began to realise the quality of their performance when I heard them practising and sound checking. Please pass my thanks to the band leader Jason.

Just seen Popwork at Naze Marine Walton. The best act all season! Young and old got up and enjoyed themselves. Could have watched them all night every night. Fantastic entertainment!

Very Very Well Received - a great show tonight for Dominic Halpin The Honey B's. This was the first time that I have seen this particular group but neither I nor the audience were left disappointed. They were all incredibly versatile musicians and had an extremely strong set list that had a collection of crowd pleasers along with some clever interpretations of classic songs given their own rock n roll twist. The audience were left cheering for more after both sets and of course they did not fail to deliver.

Thank you to Popwork who played at our 18th, 21st and 50th birthday bash in July. The quality of the music both band and voice were excellent and we have had no end of positive comments back from family and friends of all ages. Popwork played a major role in creating a superb night that we'd hoped for. They lived up to and surpassed all our expectations playing music from a huge range of genres which satisfied the oldies as well as the youngsters. Thanks Popwork, great job done!

We hired the T Rex Dinosaur for our wedding and we absolutely did not regret it! The surprise and smiles on the guests' faces - both children and adults - was definitely worth it! People are still talking about it now and the photographs look awesome! I certainly think it has created a lasting fun memory of our wedding that will be remembered for years to come! Thank you!
