• The kids absolutely loved the dinosaur egg. It was discovered on Monday morning after the children had already discovered footprints through school. The following day smaller footprints were in the library as well as a lot of dragon themed books, biscuit crumbs and piles of ash. The little dragon then tried to communicate using a note written in charcoal. On Wednesday we used an app which put a dragon on to a video taken in the school corridor. We had poetry, newspaper reports, fantasy stories... It was brilliant. We had children running down to the library every morning to find out what had happened next.  We were very happy with the egg.

• This is our 3^rd year working with Big Foot Events for our Dinosaur Weekend and we are looking forward to working with them again in 2020!  The Dinosaurs look fantastic and are of a very high quality. • What can I say?  The dinosaurs were brilliant.  Everyone loved them.  The large T-Rex went around the outside of the building knocking on windows just before the pupils were dismissed.  The screams of delight (and a bit of fear) were heard all over the school.  When he came out for the event he was surrounded by children and adults alike.  I must say your rangers were wonderful too.  They were so personable and capable.  As it was the hottest day of the year they did a fantastic job in the costume giving the full time allocated.  The babies were a great hit also - not as scary as T-Rex so the more timid children enjoyed petting them.

• Events and Stuff South West Charitable Trust hired Bad Manners through Big Foot Events for their annual black tie gala dinner for Save the Children. It was a sensational event with 250 people attending. The service and help from Big Foot Events was awesome, they were so helpful to us in securing the band and were quick to help whenever we had a question in order to make the event go smoothly. Bad Manners were simply brilliant, their performance had everyone dancing from beginning to the end, rattling off their hits and engaging with the audience. • Just wanted to say a huge thank you for a fantastic day with T-Rex and the baby dinosaurs on Tuesday 6th March. All the staff were very excited in anticipation of the day but the arrival of T-Rex was way beyond everyone’s expectations! To see the thrill on the children’s faces when he unexpectedly arrived in the hall during assembly, was magical and something they will remember for many years to come. Mike and Dave were brilliant in every respect! Their presentation was highly entertaining and appropriate for all of the children from Year R to Year 6. Their ability to ensure everyone gained something from the experience, was commendable and the children have not stopped talking about the day since. • We hired Popwork Party Band for my 50th birthday party. I corresponded with the band before the performance which really put my mind at rest and helped select an 80’s themed playlist. The band arrived in plenty of time to set up and sound check - we had hired a marquee with stage and the band ran a ‘live feed’ into the adjacent club house where the bar was, which made sure that everyone could hear the live music, and a before and after set of recorded music. The performance was absolutely first rate – every one of my guests said that the quality of the performance was absolutely first class, including stage presence, professionalism and the quality of the music. The PA was perfect, producing a great sound which enabled everyone to dance without ever being overpowered. I cannot speak highly enough of our experience on the night and would recommend Dan and the rest of Popwork to anyone (private individual or corporate) looking for a live band to perform at a wedding, party, charity night or similar function.

• The Samurai Stunt Show performance will be remembered by everyone for a long time. What surprised me was the sheer variety of skill on show: simulated fights, sword-fight and acrobatics were expected (and very impressive indeed!) but what was less were elements of theatre, ‘slow motion’ effects and injection of humour, all leading up to a heart-pumping finale that got all of us sitting at the edges of our seats until the end! It was clear that the group spent a lot of time and effort into tying all of these different elements together into a varied but cohesive show that had something in it for everyone, keeping the audience engaged from the first second the music came on until the end.

They changed the context of the show to what the customers wanted and made sure that our clients where involved with the show if they could be. They are 4 of the most kind, patient and hardworking team I’ve ever worked with, throughout organising the event, they worked well with my team and made sure it was an amazing day. It got harder for them as it started to rain, even though they could have said they need to stop, they made sure all was okay and went on. The 4 lads are a massive credit to your company and you should be proud to have them on your books, well done guys! We will definitely be booking again and I would like to have the same lads if possible. All of the wedding party wanted to know how we heard about BoomBox and had only mountains of compliments for the boys. The professionalism and class was demonstrated throughout their sets, especially when a young 8 year old girl wanted to sing Adele with Kurtis and the boys – which was very impromptu but the boys relished the request and made the night even more memorable! It is always a risk hiring a band for such a big occasion, such as a wedding. There are so many tastes and ages to cater for however BoomBox had EVERYONE on their feet and enjoying themselves. We go to Warners 2-3 times a year and have seen some great entertainment over the years but this band topped everything we have seen in the 8 years we have been going! We will keep an eye out for when you are at Warners again because we will book just to see this band!

• We were very fortunate to book Matt Winchester, he was absolutely brilliant. He did the DJ bit, but best of all he sang, which was a cross between, Luther Vandross, Barry White, Stevie Wonder and The Drifters. Everyone from the twenty year olds to the eighty year olds loved him. The dance floor was full. He is a lovely lovely man. He did lots of requests and a memorable first dance for the bride and groom. Us up here in the north are racking our brains to think of another occasion we can organise so that we can book him again.
