With a mix of traditional oompah songs and well-loved party hits, Jager Maestros Oompah Band will take your guests on a high energy journey of comedy, dance, and live music.
The band was formed in 2013 by musicians who originated from traditional brass band backgrounds. The Jager Maestros Oompah Band was born when these musicians, merged with a comedic front man, decided to put on an event where they had the opportunity to perform together as one act, and take live music to the next level by creating a new style, focusing on audience participation and high energy vibes. They invited fellow musicians from many groups such as the famous brass bands – Black Dyke, Grimethorpe, and Brighouse & Rastrick, and orchestras such as The Halle and the Royal Opera House to join the band. The Jagers performed their first ever gig in June 2013, in their home village of Littleborough, which was so well received they decided to take on another gig (which was just the start of many!).
Since that initial gig, the band grew from strength to strength, appearing at hundreds of engagements throughout the UK, and as the Jagers became more popular, the bigger the stages became! The Oompah Band have since performed in a number of the UK’s ‘Bierkeller’ venues and at many of the leading Oktoberfest UK festivals.
In addition to performing at public events, the Jagers have also performed at a number of corporate events including the ITV Christmas party, Old Trafford Cricket Ground, Brewhemia Edinburgh, JD Sports, and were televised on 8 Out of 10 Cats does Countdown.
The Jager Maestros continue to go from strength to strength as creative artists and musicians and take pride in providing their audiences with immersive, exciting and entertaining shows!
