The Brief
On 25th June, we worked with our long-standing client, Gold Medal Travel, to deliver a vibrant finale event to round off a two-day event for their travel agents.
Hosted at Carden Park in Cheshire, the evening was designed to transport guests to our client’s event sponsor, Yas Island, through immersive theming, interactive entertainment and high-energy live music.
Gold Medal Travel wanted to conclude their two-day travel agent event with a vibrant evening celebration that perfectly represented their sponsor, Yas Island.
Their vision was a room with an immediate WOW factor, complete with themed activations, memorable photo opportunities and high-energy live music.
The Challenge
A key challenge was representing multiple Yas Island parks, each with its own identity, while keeping the event space cohesive and impactful.
The décor, entertainment and interactive elements needed to seamlessly blend while delivering maximum visual impact.
We needed to bring the excitement and energy of Yas Island to an event venue in Cheshire, creating an immersive environment that would immediately transport guests and provide plenty to keep them entertained throughout the evening.
The Solution
Big Foot Events transformed the venue into a full Yas Island experience.

With Curtis Knight hosting and DJing the evening, guests were entertained and energised from the start before the only fitting finale: Boomin.
When it came to entertainment, there was no other way to end the night.
With three lead vocalists, everything performed 100% live, and a knack for spinning chart hits into the unexpected, Boomin brought outrageous energy and had every guest on their feet.
As the client put it:
‘The highlight for us was the band, Boomin, who really took our event to new levels. They interacted with the crowd which made everyone feel involved and their vocals stopped conversations around the room. The lead singer even led a conga line around not only the event room but outside of it too – the whole time singing and interacting with those a little more hesitant to join.’

Gold Medal Travel’s Big Day Out demonstrates Big Foot Events’ ability to provide complete corporate event production, theming and entertainment at venues in Cheshire and across the North West.
For this event at Carden Park in Cheshire, we didn’t simply book the entertainment. We helped bring the client’s vision to life with room and ceiling draping, bespoke lighting, a video wall, interactive F1 racing simulators, a host and DJ, and high-energy live music from Boomin.
It demonstrates how Big Foot Events can combine event production, venue transformation, interactive entertainment and live performers to create one cohesive experience around a client’s theme, brand or event sponsor.
