On 25th June, we worked with our long-standing client to deliver a vibrant finale event to round off a two-day event for their travel agents. Hosted at Carden Park in Cheshire, the evening was designed to transport guests to our client’s event sponsor, Yas Island, through immersive theming, interactive entertainment, and high-energy live music.
Gold Medal Travel wanted to conclude their two-day travel agent event with a vibrant evening celebration that perfectly represented their sponsor, Yas Island. Their vision was a room with an immediate WOW factor, complete with themed activations, memorable photo opportunities, and high-energy live music.
A key challenge was representing multiple Yas Island parks, each with its own identity, while keeping the event space cohesive and impactful. The décor, entertainment, and interactive elements needed to seamlessly blend while delivering maximum visual impact.

With Curtis Knight hosting and DJing the evening, guests were entertained and energised from the start before the only fitting finale: Boomin. When it came to entertainment, there was no other way to end the night. With three lead vocalists, everything performed 100% live, and a knack for spinning chart hits into the unexpected, Boomin brought outrageous energy and had every guest on their feet.
As the client put it: ‘The highlight for us was the band, Boomin, who really took our event to new levels. They interacted with the crowd which made everyone feel involved and their vocals stopped conversations around the room. The lead singer even led a conga line around not only the event room but outside of it too – the whole time singing and interacting with those a little more hesitant to join’.
