On 6th July 2025, we worked with our wonderful client, N2O, to deliver a Ball Pit Photobooth in the Fan Zone at the Netball Super League Grand Final, held at The O2 Arena. The installation formed part of Superdrug Online Doctor’s ‘Don’t Drop the Ball on Your Health’ campaign.
N2O approached us to create a playful, interactive feature that would engage fans ahead of the match, generate memorable moments, and tie neatly into Superdrug’s campaign message. This had to work within a busy Fan Zone packed with other brands. The goal? Making maximum impact on a modest budget.
With a tight turnaround and a limited budget, our main challenge was creating something eye-catching, engaging, and on-brand without the support of external signage or overt branding. This left the activation at risk of blending into the bustling Fan Zone. The unpredictable weather also posed a risk to the setup: any rain could endanger the technology and guest experience.
To protect the tech and maintain a seamless experience despite drizzle, N2O added a last-minute gazebo, ensuring the pit stayed dry and functional. Meanwhile, our on-site team managed guest flow, engaged visitors, and keep the pit inviting and safe all day. Even without external branding, the unique interactive design drew attention and consistent crowds.
We installed our one-of-a-kind Ball Pit Photobooth to capture both polished and playful moments. Fans were encouraged to step inside and capture two moments – the first composed and smiley, the second silly mid-pit chaos. The result? A branded digital takeaway that felt fun, personal, and shareable – perfect for post-event reach.
The combination of interactive fun and instant digital takeaways amplified engagement, proving that working to budget doesn’t mean compromising on quality.
We received fantastic feedback:
‘I just wanted to say a big ‘thank you’ for helping get this over the line – the activation was a huge success! Andrew and Danny were amazing from start to finish. They were incredibly friendly, professional, and efficient throughout. On site, they clearly explained how the Ball Pit Photo Booth worked and were fantastic with both our clients and the general public’.
This activation proved that even with a stripped-back build and modest budget, creativity and careful execution can deliver an experience that feels premium, engaging, and unforgettable.

Ready to create an activation that scores? From fully branded ball pits to interactive photo experiences, we’ve got the balls for that.
