The show is made up of three talented artists, Marcus Birks, Lis Birks and Matt Ball. They each bring their own knowledge and experience within the music industry to Blurred Lines, creating a unique band with bags of charisma and fun!
Songs include something for everyone, from artistes such as: Little Mix, Ray Charles, Bruno Mars, Amy Winehouse, The Beatles, Van Morison, Sigma, Paulo Nutini and many more. The band can tailor their show, from music to costumes, to suit your event.
Blurred Lines Hybrid Party Band have appeared at Live Music Venues and Events throughout England, Ireland, Scotland and Wales; everything from Weddings, Corporate Functions, Holiday Parks, Military Sites, Festival and Private Parties.
Interesting facts about the band:
Marcus was a contestant in the final 50 for ITV's 'Pop Stars The Rivals' that became famous for the success of Girls Aloud. He was also awarded as the best recruit on ITV's hit show BadLads Army that had over 6.7 million people tune in to the show. He has along worked on DJ sets along side Rizzle Kicks, Joe Gilgun, Katie Price, Mc Neat and DJ Luck plus many more.
Lis has been working as a model, musician and vocalist from the age of 16 and throughout this time many different products including Holster Australia, Lip Smackers, Hair Tru, Bperfect and LA Muscle have sponsored her.She formed her own vocal harmony band and led them to Boot Camp for ITV's The X Factor.
Marcus and Lis are also the official members of international act Cappella and have performed on some of the biggest 90's events and festivals in Europe along side multi-platinum selling artists from around the world.
Matt is multi-instrumentalist (if it makes a sound he can play it) he is a signed writer and producer with BMG and has worked with some of the leading artists in the UK and got the privilege of recording and mixing the drums from a jam session by one of his drumming idols Chad Smith from the Red Hot Chili Peppers.
